Lily Allen has revealed that she’s becoming the toast of Hollywood, she doesn’t have any plans to relocate across the Atlantic any time soon.

Lily recently played a showcase in Los Angeles and attracted a number of celebrity fans such as Lindsay Lohan, Gwen Stefani and Courtney Love - but Lily isn’t interested in joining the LA party set.

She told the Mirror recently: “I really don’t care about all that. Nothing makes you more sick than when you walk into a room of celebrities and they give you this celebrity nod and kind of invite you into the group. No, thank you!”

“I love London, I love England. I don’t think I could move to the States. I like America once I get past customs, but there’s something really unwelcoming about it before you get in.”

“And it can be so false. If you had a bad show, it’s like ‘Oh, my God! You were so fabulous tonight!’ But at the same time it’s been amazing. I went to the studio the other day and Kanye West was there. He was directing me just because he wanted to. It was too weird.”

Lily added that her plans for musical domination are quite simple: being herself and working hard: “I just stay English. A lot of British try to be American.”

“And it’s a hard slog - I’ve been getting up at 7am and doing interviews till 8pm and then getting on stage. You’ve got to put the hours in.”

Lily was left Wednesday’s Brit Awards empty-handed despite being nominated for four awards.
