• Helen Mirren has revealed that cast and crew members on the set of The Queen had difficult separating her from her character of Queen Elizabeth II so kept her at arm’s length out of respect. She said recently: “I noticed the crew wouldn’t look me in the eye and nobody would approach me. And when I went to say thank you to the extras for a great day’s work, again they wouldn’t even look at me.”
  • Pamela Anderson has turned down designer Julien MacDonald’s invitation to take part in his London Fashion Week show because the designer uses animal fur. PETA campaigner Pamela replied to his offer by saying: “I truly appreciate [it]. I’m hoping you can extend your kindness to include animals. If you stop using fur; I’d be thrilled to attend a show yours in the future.”
  • Kelly Osbourne reportedly hooked up with a random guy after the Brits on Wednesday. She was spotted in the VIP area of the London nightclub Paper and an onlooker revealed: “She was clutching a bottle of vodka and had clearly had a good night. Kelly was snogging his face off. They were really going for it.”
