Further details have emerged regarding Britney Spears‘ strange Friday night activities - with unconfirmed reports suggesting that she made a flying visit to Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills after her head shaving and tattooing.

Britney was seen crying in her car for ten minutes before entering Esther’s Haircutting Studio in Tarzana around 6.15pm and asking for her head to be shaved. Salon owner Esther Tognozzi has recalled: “She came in and said, ‘I want my hair shaved off’. I said, ‘I’m not going to do that.’ I didn’t want to be sued; I didn’t want her agent calling me and saying, ‘You ruined her hair’.”

“Her bodyguard was saying, ‘It’s her body, she can do what she wants,’ but I wouldn’t do it. She grabbed the clipper I usually use to trim neck hair and sideburns, and she started to shave herself.”

“She was okay. She was kind of flat, just there in body but not emotionally. She finished, and it was kind of messy, so I cleaned it up for her.”

“The only time she did get emotional was when she said, ‘My mom’s going to get upset.’ And then she kind of teared up.”

“Then, when she finished, she looked at herself and said, ‘Oh, my God, my hair’s gone. I just shaved my hair off.’ I said, ‘It’s only hair, it’ll grow back.’”

“I think the extensions in her hair were too tight, and she wanted to take them off.”

“Her bodyguards offered to pay, but I said I can’t charge her for something I didn’t do. They did leave a tip.”

The star and her two bodyguards then bundled back into her car and drove around Los Angeles for around 40 minutes before arriving at the Body and Soul tattoo studio. She asked for a set of lips on her wrist and a black, white and pink cross on her lower hip.

Employee Emily Wynne-Hughes said she was “screaming and flipping out from the pain” during the process and “After she left, we said to each other, ‘We just saw a huge celebrity on the verge of a nervous breakdown’.”

“She basically just said she was tired of having things plugged into her. She didn’t want anybody to touch her. She seemed really distraught and disturbed. She was very scatterbrained.”

“The whole time, I felt like she wasn’t there — like her body was but her thoughts were somewhere else. It was crazy, very surreal. She’s definitely crying out.”

Britney then went home for a short while before being spotted at Cedars Sinai Medical Centre around 2am. Onlookers report she was wearing a dark wig and spoke to staff briefly before being taken into a private room with a friend. She left around an hour later.

Britney’s spokesperson Gina Orr has so far refused to comment on the events.
