Wayne Rooney and Coleen McLoughlin to marry in summer 2008
Coleen McLoughlin has revealed she will marry fiance Wayne Rooney next summer after Euro 2008.
The couple started dating in 2001 - when Coleen was just 14 - and got engaged in 2003 but haven’t found time to marry yet.
She said recently: “There’s loads of speculation that me and Wayne are getting married this summer but no, we’re not. A few friends are getting married but not us.”
“We’ll have to think about it pretty hard and start planning around the [Euro 2008] tournament.”
“It’s hard to organise when you don’t know when the tournament’s going to finish for England. But Ashley Cole and Cheryl Tweedy got married after the World Cup last year, so it can be done. It might just mean not having a honeymoon afterwards.”
The inevitably lavish wedding will take some serious planning and while Coleen has started reading bridal magazines, she hasn’t got any firm ideas for what she’ll wear on her big day: “I’m terrible picking a dress for a Saturday night, let alone for my wedding.”
“I see different styles and think ‘Oh, that’s nice,’ but I haven’t got my heart set on any particular one. I think I’d have to get something that suits me and my shape.”

Colleen is a good role model for young girls because she isnt super super skinny but has got a nice shape and i guess shes more of a regular woman. I can’t say that i know she’s a nice person, but she sure looks that way. As her and rooney are childhood sweethearts,im sure she sees more in him than just his looks! I wish them all the happiness and best for the future . . .
