Hugh Grant’s family reportedly want the actor to get back together with Jemima Khan because they think he’ll regret it if he doesn’t.

Hugh and Jemima split up last week after a three year relationship and a family friend has told the Sun that Hugh’s dad is particularly keen to see the couple reunited.

The source told the newspaper: “[Liz Hurley] wasn’t liked by the family. They thought Jemima was more appropriate.”

“[Hugh’s father] James is really down. He has asked Hugh to reconsider and make the relationship work. He thinks losing Jemima could be something Hugh regrets later in life.”

A second source revealed that Jemima had banned Hugh from attending Liz’s wedding next month but now he’ll probably go to the Gloucestershire ceremony, if not the Indian leg too: “There is nothing stopping him any more. He is expected to go.”
