Judge Larry Seidlin has ruled that Anna Nicole Smith should be buried in Bahamas to be “next to her son”.

He added that the exact arrangements will be determined by Richard Milstein, the court-appointed guardian of Anna Nicole’s daughter Dannielynn, in consultation with Howard K Stern, Larry Birkhead and Anna Nicole’s mother Virgie Arthur.

After hearing from various witnesses over the past three days, Judge Seidlin made the pronouncement around 4pm EST this afternoon, even though he had previously said he would “fashion a remedy” on Friday morning. All three parties were in tears when the ruling was made and even Judge Seidlin was emotional, having to hold the hand of a court clerk during the announcement.

The paternity of Dannielynn was expected to be covered in the three day hearing but Judge Seidlin chose to make the judgement regarding Anna Nicole’s burial without addressing the paternity issue. He did though insist that both Howard and Larry submit to full DNA tests to “end the baloney”. He added: “In the old days, I’d be bangin’ some heads together!”

A closed court in the Bahamas is reportedly considering the immediate issue of custody of Dannielynn until the paternity dispute is resolved. Howard has had custody of her up to this point.
