Lady SovereignLady Sovereign has revealed she told Corinne Bailey Rae that she’s boring and “a fake” but that Corinne wasn’t bothered in the slightest.

Lady Sovereign, real name Louise Harman, told the Mirror that she met Corinne at a T4 recording recently: “I told her she was boring and that she should be called Corinne ‘Boring’ Rae.”

“I think she’s a fake. She’s too nice. She sings about life being as sweet as roses but it’s not. It’s crap.”

“Corinne just said ‘whatever’ and turned on her heels like she was the Queen.”

Corinne, who was also labelled dull by Lily Allen last week, added: “After meeting big stars like Mary J Blige and hearing they love my music I don’t really care what they think.”

Lady Sovereign has also blasted Lily, calling her the “the biggest chav going” and adding: “Just ’cos her dad’s famous, she doesn’t have to work as hard as me.”

Lily has responded on her blog by saying: “In response to Miss Sovereign, I’ve spoken to my dad and he says he’d be happy to adopt you if you think it will give you a leg up.”
