  • With the Oscars on Sunday, the pre-Oscars activities are building up. Wednesday night saw Giant magazine held a pre-Oscars party on Wednesday night at the Beverly Wilshire hotel in honour of Jennifer Hudson’s Best Supporting Actress nomination. The event was hosted by Jamie Foxx and Janet Jackson was in attendance too - with strange shaped/positioned boobs.
  • Meanwhile, two-time Best Actress winner Hilary Swank warmed up for Sunday’s red carpet spectacular by attending an event to celebrate the German release of her new film Freedom Writers in Berlin on Thursday. Hilary looked rather thin but very fresh faced at the event - looking as young as she did when she picked up her first gold statue in 2000.
  • Think Britney Spears is having a breakdown or just sick of the paparazzi following her every move? X17 have photos of Britney hitting a photographer’s car with an umbrella at Kevin Federline’s home on Wednesday night. She’s back in rehab now, of course, so hopefully she’ll get a rest either way.
  • And just because the pictures are fun, Tenacious D (with Jack Black’s wife Tanya Hadden and baby son Samuel) were snapped arriving back in LA after a recent gig in Vancouver. You’d have thought after a couple of years with him, Jack’s jokey self-aggrandising might be getting dull for Tanya but she seems to be rather amused by it all.
