Sophie Ellis Bextor has said the best thing about going to the Brit Awards last week were the goodie bags given out to the presenters.

While Hollywood is shunning away from gift bags to already wealthy celebrities, Sophie said regarding the Brits ones: “This probably isn’t a very cool comment but the goodie bags were unbelievable. I got a bit obsessed beforehand - I was worried that I wouldn’t get one!”

“There was a Nintendo Wii, a little pink Gameboy, some iPod speakers . . . it was all good stuff.”

When asked if she’s be giving away the packs (particularly the Wii) for charity, she replied: “No, that’s been unpacked and set up in my front room!”
