• Billie Piper pulled out of the opening night of her West End show Treats at the last minute on Friday night. The Mirror reports that she was rushed to hospital just minutes before she was due on stage and her understudy had to take her place. She is expected to return to the play at the Garrick theatre sometime this week.
  • Geri Halliwell has revealed she’s loved to perform in the West End: “I think the stage is next for me. Quite a few casting people have asked to see me. I love the directness of the stage and have always hankered after a life on it! Hopefully, I’ll be able to prove my critics wrong.” The Sun is also reporting that Geri is holding meetings with a production company to host a new TV show.
