  • Geri Halliwell is reportedly keen to have another baby before she gets too much older. The former Spice Girl gave birth to daughter Bluebell last May but is no longer involved with Bluebell’s father Sacha Gervasi so is looking for a new man. A source close to the star revealed: “She’s desperate to have another baby but petrified she won’t find the right man to have one with. She knows time is running out, so she’s not leaving things to chance - she’s been looking for a while now and says having a child is the best thing she’s ever done.”
  • Former supermodel Christie Brinkley has undergone an emergency operation on her back after injuring her spine during a recent ski trip. Her spokesperson Fran Curtis wouldn’t reveal the specific nature of the injuries but said that it had got worse over the last few days. Curtis told People magazine: “She needed surgery, and thank God she got it. She sounds great. She’s feeling a million times better.” Christie is expected to leave hospital over the weekend.
  • Bob Geldof doesn’t seem to think much of his daughter’s opinions when it comes to men. The musician was spotted with his daughters Pixie and Peaches Geldof on a recent theatre-and-dinner night out in London and an onlooker revealed: “Pixie met Nicholas Hoult, who was in About a Boy, and told her dad she thought he was sexy. Bob replied: ‘He looks a doofus.’”
