  • Madonna has revealed she wears the trousers in her house - or at least controls who can wear them. She said recently about husband Guy Ritchie: “I like it when my husband wears suits and I tell him that on a regular basis. He is very obedient in the clothes department!”
  • Although she’s previously said she was unhappy doing it, Sharon Stone has now said she’s glad she filmed the infamous flashing scene in Basic Instinct because of the professional boost it gave her. She said recently: “I’m really glad that the fame and the clout that film brought me has allowed me to make other pictures and to do humanitarian work.”
  • Billie Piper has revealed she has a special knack for going to the toilet when filming period dramas. Billie recently finished an adaptation of Jane Austen’s Mansfield Park and by the end of filming, had the method down to a fine art. She revealed: “I’ve got a technique now about how you pee in a corset. You straddle the loo. You kind of climb over it and have the dress fall behind you. You pee the same way that a guy would. It works really well.”
