  • Liz Hurley married fiance Arun Nayer yesterday in a private civil ceremony according to a spokesperson from Gloucestershire County Council. The pair were expected to marry at Sudeley Castle in the area today but due to marriage licensing restrictions, they had to marry in a licensed room at the castle yesterday ahead of today’s lavish blessing and reception. Rev John Partington, the vicar for nearby Winchcombe, confirmed he would be officiating at the blessing and the couple are expected to have a second blessing during celebrations in India later this month.
  • Howard K Stern described his relationship with Anna Nicole Smith as being her “nominated executor” on Anna Nicole’s death certificate rather than her boyfriend, husband or even lawyer. A spokesperson for the Broward County Office of Vital Statistics told gossip website TMZ, who have obtained a copy of the certificate, “we would have not given him that title without his request.” Anna Nicole was buried in the Bahamas yesterday.
  • Cate Blanchett has reported a $100,000 clutch bag as being stolen from her hotel room the day before the Oscars. Cate was offered the one-of-a-kind diamond and alligator bag by designer Lana Marks for the big night but a source close to the star told the New York Daily News that Cate had been pressured into carrying an Armani bag because Giorgi Armani had designed her dress and didn’t know how to tell Lana the bad news. She has now claimed that the original bag went missing from her closet at the Four Seasons hotel.
