Justin Timberlake reportedly wants to visit ex-girlfriend Britney Spears in rehab but Britney’s mum, Lynne Spears has forbidden it.

According to the Sunday Mirror, Lynne believes seeing Justin would cause Britney too much stress. A source close to the family told the newspaper: “Justin and Brit knew each other as kids and were first loves. Justin was distressed to learn about the state Britney was in. Lynne was touched by his gesture but begged him not to go.”

“He asked Lynne to pass on his best wishes and promised to hook up with [Britney] at a later date.”

Justin has previously been quoted as saying that Britney made a “smart choice” when she shaved her head as a way to start over.
