Simon Cowell: Britney Spears and Robbie Williams’ rehab is self-indulgent
Simon Cowell has called Britney Spears and Robbie Williams self-indulgent for checking into their exclusive rehab clinics.
Britney is currently receiving treatment at Promises Center in Malibu while Robbie checked into The Meadows clinic in Arizona last month.
Simon said recently: “This whole thing is a total indulgence. Britney and Robbie need to get a grip.”
“I don’t know what’s going on in Britney’s head but my attitude is I couldn’t care less. She should go back and live with her mum for six months.”
“I went to a deprived part of the world recently… It really opened my eyes. You can feel sorry for yourself over the smallest things, but then you look at the world and you think, ‘I’ve got nothing to complain about.’”
“So when I hear about the Robbies and the Britneys going to into rehab, I think, ‘I’ll tell you what rehab is. Go to where I just went, where people are really suffering and then you’ll see just how good your life is.’”
“Pop stars these days just get too much too soon. They don’t actually have to work that hard for it and they lose their perspective.”
“I mean Britney is not working in a coal mine is she? You are whisked to the studio in a very large limo, you are flown around in private jet, everyone will agree with you and physically making an album is a doddle.”

How fortunate it must be for those who do not suffer…it takes great courage to be Human and compassionate. What is endulgence is that of the shallow and what they fail to see feel…Acute depresion is a very traumatic experience either rich or poor…Look around this world it has so many dark areas, the whole world is not in sync. Now take this world of everything and place it inside… would you have control?

Simon seems to have forgot that Robbie also spent a lot of time in Africa, isnt he a patron of aids charities and other 3rd world charities? I myself have an addiction to pain killers which i am getting there I have not taken one for over a week and feel proud of myself, you dont have to be famous to have addictions to precription medication, it can happen to the best of us!
As for Britney, maybe she is having a breakdown? If that is the case people should be supporting her not bad mouthing her in these news articles
As for pop stars get too much too soon dont you think Robbie has been around for a long time? so that quote you made did not make sense
If you had been to a deprived part of the world why are you not making us aware of what needs doing or trying to raise funds, instead of slagging Rob and Britney off
As i said before this whole story seems to be a bit strange

i think we’re all just a little sick and tired of her tantrums. it’s quite irritating when it appears that she’s not taking her situation as seriously as she should. just writing it off to be “just” postpartum depression…does she not know that moms have stoned and drowned, etc their babies from this illness? it’s nothing to take lightly. she’s so stupid!!!!

i’ll say we all live a moment when everything seems to be like in hell, you hate things, ur unhappy, and is not that you dont have the money to buy things, is just that you dont feel people like you. you just dont find someone who can make you laugh, who can make you feel alive … this happens to everyone. but they got more money to buy drogs than what i do, so … that also afect themselves… come on, havent u ever feel like that ?
