• Courteney Cox Arquette and David Arquette have denied recent rumours that they are having marital problems. Various tabloid rumours have suggested the pair have hit the troublesome seven-year itch period and Courteney has been getting close to Dirt co-star Josh Stewart and often dining out with friends without David. A spokesperson for the couple has now said: “There is not a shred of truth to the rumors about the state of their marriage. They are happily married and, like most married couples, they have some separate friendships and interests.”
  • Music producer Pharrell Williams can’t understand celebrities moaning about their hard lives. He said recently: “I don’t want to be that guy, ‘Oh, I’m super-rich but I f***ing hate life’. That’s not me. I’m so f***ing happy that I can wake up and do this every day.”
  • Joel Madden is being investigated by the Beverly Hills Police Department after a female photographer claimed he attacked her on Sunday night. The woman claims Joel hit her on her left breast “with the heel of his hand” as Joel tried to escort girlfriend Nicole Richie from the backdoor of Mr Chow in Beverly Hills. The incident was caught on video by another member of the paparazzi and a police spokesperson has confirmed they’re investigating the report.
