Tom Cruise to accompany Katie Holmes to set of new film

Tom Cruise is reportedly set to accompany his wife Katie Holmes to the set of her new film Mad Money every day during filming.

Katie is due to start work on the comedy caper in Louisiana next month and an insider told the New York Post: “Tom has called producers and told them he will be on set every day.”

“He wants to observe what’s going on and will probably help Katie out.”

Tom was reportedly upset over Katie’s sex scenes in Thank You for Smoking and asked her to pull out of the next Batman film because it would mean more romantic scenes between her character and Christian Bale’s Batman, but the source added that this wouldn’t be the case with Mad Money: “Katie’s agent chose this role for her because it is a female buddy movie. There is no love interest and she wouldn’t be kissing anyone or have a sex scene.”

Jim Acheson, one of the film’s producers, told the newspaper: “I don’t know if [Tom has called], so I can’t confirm. [But] We are happy to have both Katie and Tom on set.”
