Anne Hathaway has said she doesn’t feel pressure to be glamorous all the time.

She told Glamour magazine recently: “My entire film career’s been dependant on my ability to look unnattractive.”

“I’m not afraid of running out for coffee in a hideous outfit. I have to prioritise. I’ve got a lot going on in my life. I’m an actress and looking totally put-together isn’t the biggest part of my job.”

And while she’s partied in the past, she added that she’s not bothered about taking part in the fashion-obsessed Hollywood party scene with many of her contemporaries, saying she prefers to “knit, play Scrabble and do crossword puzzles” instead.
