  • Mischa Barton has revealed she revels in her English heritage after being born and spending the first five years of her live in London. She said recently: “I’m so proud of my roots. In my house you wouldn’t know that we weren’t in England. I have Lucozade and Ribena in my fridge, and Marmite and Weetabix on the cupboard. I feel very English and if we’d stayed in London I’d probably be a lawyer now.”
  • Peaches Geldof says she hates comparisons to Paris Hilton and insists the two are nothing alike. Party-girl Peaches told the NME recently: “Paris is thick and sometimes looks like a transvestite, even though she’s better looking than me. Also, she’s a socialite and I’m not.”
  • Pamela Anderson doesn’t seem to have learnt any lessons from her four month marriage to Kid Rock last year. She said recently that she “wants an explosive love affair again” but she knows that it won’t lead to long-term love: “I’m used to being alone with my sons so it’s hard. I get controlling and probably impossible.”
