Cate BlanchettCate Blanchett has revealed that she’s not as organised as she appears to be when she’s seen juggling her busy professional life and being a mum to her two sons, five year old Dashiell and two year old Roman.

She told In Style magazine that the have-it-all image is just an illusion: “That’s so not me. I’m a mess!”

“I guess there is a lot of positive spin about me, but I’m certainly not a superwoman.”

She also admitted that she still gets star-struck when she’s introduced to other Hollywood celebrities because “I don’t see myself as a celebrity.”

“When we were performing Hedda Gabler on stage in Brooklyn [last year], it was thrilling for everyone when Meryl Streep and Jane Fonda came to see the show. My problem is, I can be shy around these people.”
