• Hugh Grant has revealed that he loved the fake-facelift he had to play a younger version of himself in new film Music & Lyrics. He revealed recently: “I had to play myself back in the Eighties, so I had an elastic lift - it’s a tight piece of band around the face that’s invisible but makes you look like you’ve had a facelift. I loved it and refused to take it off for a week.”
  • And speaking of facelifts, KISS frontman Gene Simmons and partner Shannon Tweed have undergone the real thing for the start of the second series of their reality TV show Gene Simmons’ Family Jewels. Their face lifts and Gene’s liposuction were filmed for the show and Gene said about the footage: “Honest to God, it just sort of happened. [The operation is] like a biology class, more fascinating than gory.”
  • Elle Macpherson has admitted she misses her native Australia but will stay in the UK at least until her children have grown up. She said recently: “I still feel very Australian. I’d love to move back. But my children go to school here, their father lives here and I don’t want to separate them from their father.” Elle has two sons - eight year old Flynn and three year old Aurelius Cy - with former fiance Arpad Busson.
