• Lily Allen has revealed that she’d prefer to have children sooner rather than later - but she doesn’t want them to follow in her footsteps. The 21 year old said recently: “I want to have kids soon. I was an angry child, I was naughty. I did bad things with boys, I was smoking, got in fights. I don’t want that, I want a nice family.”
  • Fashion designer Marc Jacobs has checked into a rehab centre in Arizona after slipping back into old ways while showing his latest collection for Louis Vuitton at Paris Fashion Week. Marc’s business partner Robert Duffy confirmed the news, saying: “Marc made the right decision. He’d been sober for seven years. When he relapsed, he wanted to deal with it right away. According to the experts, such a relapse isn’t uncommon. Thankfully, Marc recognized the problem himself and chose to deal with it. Obviously, our prayers are with him.”
  • Anti-fur campaigner Heather Mills has defended herself after a video emerged earlier this week of her wearing a mink coat in 1989. Writing on her website, she said: “The coat belonged to my mother, who had sadly died just a few days earlier and I wore it as it made me feel close to her. I am not ashamed I wore it. At the time I was not a vegetarian and was not an anti-fur campaigner. I was extremely young and not aware of issues surrounding the fur trade.”
