David and Victoria Beckham

  • David and Victoria Beckham made an appearance at Old Trafford stadium in Manchester last night to help mark Manchester United’s 50 years participation in European football and for David to say goodbye to the 74,000 sellout crowd ahead of his leaving Europe for the US over the summer. Before the friendly celebration match began, David gave a short speech saying, “The time I spent at this club was the best time in my whole football career”.
  • Still in the UK, Sienna Miller attended the British premiere of her new film Factory Girl in London last night. Sienna took her sister - and co-fashion designer - Savannah Miller along to the event and according to reports, the pair partied until dawn after the screening.
  • Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson locked paws on their way into Hyde nightclub in Hollywood on Monday night. The pair have been rumoured to be dating since last autumn but claim they’re just friends.
  • Into more healthy pursuits than clubbing, Reese Witherspoon was snapped looking very svelte in black while running (and, by the looks of it, floating) on Monday.
  • Despite Reese’s baseball cap and sunglasses, she didn’t seem too perturbed about having her photo taken - unlike her estranged husband Ryan Phillippe. When X17 ran into him yesterday, he threw a tshirt on his head to hide his face - then literally threw his burger at the photographers.
  • Mischa Barton on the other hand didn’t fling her lunch about - she was spotted at Bread Restaurant in Tribeca, New York yesterday afternoon but her little doggie, Ziggy, had to wait outside while she ate.
  • And still in New York and on the subject of food, Naomi Watts was snapped picking up lunch for two at the Crosby Connection in the city’s West Village yesterday.
