Lindsay LohanLindsay Lohan hit a photographer with her car just hours before her dad was released from prison after spending two years in jail for a driving offence.

Lindsay’s accident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday morning in New York after she left Club Butter around 3am. According to onlookers, she got into the car with a bottle of water in her hand - she stared down a photographer that claimed it was anything other than water - and drove away. Various members of the paparazzi followed in their own cars and report that she began to jump lights and drive recklessly and after turning down a one-way street the convoy was pulled over by police.

While the police were ticketing one of the photographers, Lindsay seemingly pulled her car forward and hit a second photographer who then fell to the ground. She was captured on video saying: “I totally did that. I saw him.”

Lindsay then left the scene in her bodyguards’ black SUV but then returned to the scene around an hour later. The injured photographer was taken to hospital in an ambulance and was treated for a bruised knee before being released.

Just a few hours later, Michael Lohan was released from the Collins Correctional Facility near Buffalo, New York at 9am. Michael, who previously abused drugs and alcohol, was jailed after being found to be driving under the influence and without a license after a car crash on Long Island but has reportedly found religion in jail and is now an ordained minister.

Michael was filming a reality show Hollywood Dad when he was imprisoned and according to the show’s producer Brett Hudson, he’ll resume shooting now that he’s a free man again: “Michael Lohan is a changed man. I’ve spoken to him often and I know it.”

“The last time around, Michael would never admit he’d done anything wrong. Now, he not only admits his past mistakes, but he wants to right the wrongs he’s done. And most of all he wants to get his family on track.”
