Tori Spelling reportedly made amends with her mum Candy Spelling ahead of the birth of her son Liam on Tuesday.

Tori and Candy fell out after Candy felt she was portrayed badly in Tori’s VH1 show So NoTORIous and the death of Tori’s father Aaron Spelling - and the subsequent allocation of his estate - make the problems worse.

However, now Tori’s brother Randy has told People magazine the pair have been working on their relationship: “My sister and my mom have been communicating for the past few weeks.”

“They are going to be there for each other and [Tori’s soon-to-arrive] baby. My mom is having a grandchild, and it puts things into perspective.”

“No matter what, we are family, and they’re resolving things and getting back together. They are communicating, and it makes both of them happy. It’s definitely a mutual thing.”

Shortly after Liam’s birth on Tuesday, Candy told People: “Words can’t describe the joy and elation I feel at this truly happy event. I am looking forward to doting on my new little grandson and all the memorable fun that comes with it.”
