Angelina Jolie officially adopts new son: Pax Thien Jolie

AWESOME!!!I wish Iam in a position to be able to adop a child in an orphanage. So many child longingly wanted a home and family of their own. specially overseas.

You are in a position to adopt a child, you’re just not in a position t abuse your celebrity to get special treatment. Adopted in 3 weeks? This stuff was supposed to take like four months!

They started the process well over 10+ months ago- right after Shi was born in Namibia– it’s just now- (3 weeks) when things have come together and the press is on it- that we have heard about it… so starting almost 1-year ago-this was not “fast-tracked”- but definitely within a “normal” time frame, maybe a little “fast-tracked” at the end- who cares? At least he has been adopted and basically that’s all children want- is to feel the love, safety & security of a family unit… I say- Good Luck to them… I would love to adopt, if only I had the funds… every child should have the opportunity to grow up in a loving home where they feel WANTED… my opinion…

I’ve heard about the adoption for much more than 3 weeks. Alongside with the “special treatment” stuff these are other issues for haters: why change the boy’s name? why pax? why brad didn’t come to vietnam? why another asian boy than an american one…so be inspired!!!

carolina-if you have heart to adopt I encourage you to do it one day. there is financial help out there because it can be expensive. it’s such a beautiful process, no matter how much it costs or how long the process takes. :-)

Stop treating Angelina like a hero. She’s rediculous. She’s a child collector. Can you imagine what is going to happen to Maddox, Zahara and Pax (Changing a kids name at three is just mean, also.. I mean.. at three he’s used to responding to his name. Just because she wants to give him something more trendy. UGH!) when they hit their teenage years? Celebrity children have enough problems without being known worldwide as the Jolie-Pitt ADOPTED clan. Every article written about them separates Shiloh as the “biological child of the pair”. It can’t be nice. She’s just irresponsible. It was irresponsible of her to get pregnant just after adopting Zahara, and it’s irresponsible adopting this child while Shiloh is still so young. A three year old with no skills in English will be quite demanding, and she has two very young kids… Ugh. She is a rediculous. I think she has a problem…

who is anyone to judge- although hard to see why a little boy’s name should be changed. It’s certainly not for his sake, sadly. He looks so sensitive, and he has massive adjustments ahead of him. Even with the most loving heart it is hard to begin to estimate these- and he will need such care and committed time to feel safe. Hope there are no films scheduled for a while- but they do have great hearts. The press describe Shiloh as a biological child- I doubt very much whether her mum and dad make that separation.

if you want to be inspired, go buy scented candles. children are not fashion accessories. angelina’s a nut job, and not fit to be the mother of a cat let alone a kid.

i would like to know why brad does not stop her adopting so soon after there daughter. so many kids what is sge trying to prove. is that the only way she can stay in the news she should rather look after her kids thats shes got now as it is she said she has more love for the two adopted kids than for her and brads own daughter what kind of person says something like that i think jolie has got a screw loose and i think she only had a baby with brad because she was scared he was gonna leave her and he so much wants to have a son of his own and now she goes and adopes another child

You people are so busy trying to judge tha you’re missing the bigger picture. If you have never been an orphan then you have no way of understanding Angelina and why she is adopting these children. Children who would otherwise grow up with no famlily felling as if no one loves them. Pleasa just be happy for the kids. For anyone to adopt even one child is commendable let alone three.

She’s my hero, no matter what people are saying or being jealous. All I care is that she’s helping one more child, making one more soul happier. Can other rich people out there have a heart like her? Or you just like to spend your money for luxury things for your own life? Be nice to others and be helpful, folks.

To some annoying, picky people!! WHY so many WHY’S? Angelina is living her own blessed life with Brad and her kids. You are not!! Don’t you get peeved when someone butts into your private life and being all knowing? Ever heard the saying… to each his/her own. Just be happy for other people.

I would not usually devote this much time to responding to celebrity gossip, but this particular story just strikes a chord with me because I’m such an avid supporter of the rights of children and deeply interested in adoption. This particular case just makes me so mad because it’s BLATENTLY obvious Angelina’s first priority is Angelina’s reputation. No other celebrity generates so much press around their adoptions, and MANY other famous people adopt - Steven Speilberg, Meg Ryan, Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise have adopted kids together, Mia Farrow has ten adopted children, all with physical or mental handicaps, Calista Flockhart,Diane Keaton and the list really does go on (of course, we won’t talk about Madonna and poor, poor baby David…). The fact is, if Angelina’s first priority was her kids, she wouldn’t be having them so close together. Babies (ESPECIALLY adopted ones) need a lot of one on one time with their parents. And with Brad filming, Angelina flying around the world constantly her kids, and their ever-expanding siblings, none of them can be getting the attention they need from their parents (I’m by no means suggesting they’re neglected, I’m sure they have a whole host of nannies to take care of them… moving from one orphanage to another, I think). But the worst thing is I believe there are two types of people who adopt.. people who genuinely want a child, and people who do it to “save” a child. And that’s what sepparates her from other celebrity adopters, and why she generates so much press. She goes on about saving Zahara from death, and saving them from orphanages, or a life of poverty, and I know she has really but… theres a differnce between being saved, and being wanted just to join the family, and make it whole, I believe. It’s great to adopt from poor countries, but unless you’re doing it for the right reasons it can be just as damaging.

Also someone who cares so much about childrens rights wouldn’t be breaking international adoption laws, they’re there to protect the children!

I think Angelina is treating these children like trinkets, to be collected. Ohh a child from this country and one from that country and one from that country. Like a doll collector or something, its sick! Focus on the ones you have! Raise them properly before you go out and hoard more!! Jeez whats wrong with these people? You watch people she will get one from EVERY country she can, till she has the globe covered.Its obsessive and pathetic.

Bianca said that there are all these other celebrities that adopt but don’t make a thing out of it, but I don’t know any of those celebs that have the amount of paps following their every move. There is so much publicity following ange and brad adopting because there is so much publicity following ange and brad full stop. They obviously love their kids, they have the money and resources, so why does everyone make them out to be such bad parents? They have made a decision to raise a family together, I have heard ange say they would like to have them sooner rather than later so they can fully enjoy and take part in it all. I am sure they are not doing anything on the spur of the moment, it’s a big decision to take on another child, especially with 3 already, and adoption takes a long time, being a family I’m pretty sure they would have talked about this and if they thought they were making a mistake they would have pulled out before the press even heard about it. I am really impressed by ange and her strength, to go on and do all these things, with everything that is said about her everyday, and to raise these children, I only worry about them because of the paparazzi flashing everywhere they go.

To you haters try to be much more inspired because you keep on droning on and on about the same things all over again. Angelina is a mother of 4 now, she’s gone through lots of things and always proved to be a devoted and a balanced mother. I think that she knows much more about children than most of you all.

Its not fair that Angelina And Brad are collecting kids like unique furniture they should make their own! They only made 1(Shiloh)

All yall haters that are hating on Angelina and Brad’s adpotions!! I bet alot of yall out there would want to be like her too!!(and have her man!!) She is a gorgeous,humanitarian,caring and amazing person!! I do see her problems too but dont we all have problems? and yet we all dont do what she’s doing not only for these kids shes adopting but to many many people.And yall sit on yall asses trying to hate on her! so take ur money and give $100,000 or $500,000 to charity!! if you do..later u will probably regret it!!! and Angie and Brad do this by heart and they feel good doing it.Just because other celebs dont do what they do dont mean that shes a ridiculous person or trying to gain fame..shes doing what makes her feel good and that is a human right.Especially when u got the $$ she has and u dont have a limit.She donates thousands and thousands of dollars to orphange and to poor resource centers and a s**t load of other places! She does care for her kids and she did say that she and Brad wanted to adopt quickley enough so that they can enjoy life all as 1.She probably does have nannies and guards over her children..yea..theyre cute,celeberties kids,rich and many lunnies out there will probably wanna kidnap them or s**t of that sort.And shes rich right?? so yea..she can buy what ever she wants whenever she wants for any one she wants! its her business anyways.Anf like many people said, she doesnt spend money on stupid materilstic s**t.She cares about people other than herself and the kids.And on a different note..she didnt make Brad wierd..he just looks alot more sexier!!

Oh yea..and her kids arent like collectable dolls..she said once that she finds it intersting to wake up one morning and leave to a different country and find her family.She helps these countries and she feels well there.Shes against racism and said that in her house,her family would be multi-racial so that she has a bit of each country that she loves with her.

Angelina is an ambassador. she’s been to many places and have seen their suffering. i think this is her way of helping the world… one child at a time. Bianca, it’s not angelina’s fault that paps are always following her around. And what do you know about the process she had to go through? Were u there with her? I sincerely doubt that. just because she’s in the news all the time doesn’t mean all those stories about her are true.
And why have more kids when there are kids out there that wants you. so you, amy-lea is just a jealous prick. you want to have your own bio kid… that’s your problem. Angie wants to adopt… that’s her prerogative.
