Heather Mills breaks into pig farm to highlight cruelty

Heather Mills reportedly broke into a pig farm a fortnight ago to highlight how the animals are treated.

As part of vegetarian/vegan activist group Viva!, Heather broke into Briarwood Farm, near Bridgwater in Somerset and was filmed explaining why the farrowing crates - where the sows give birth and nurture their piglets - are one of the “one of factory farming’s worst hidden horrors.”

Heather was filmed putting on overalls and disinfecting her boots before entering the area but according to the Sun, the farm’s owner Michael Underhill has claimed she didn’t take enough precautionary measures and some of the animals are now sick.

He added that he “intends to take legal action” against Heather and the group for trepassing on the property.
