Sugababes‘ Amelle Berrabah has reportedly got back together with her ex-boyfriend Freddie Fuller - even though he is currently being investigated following a date-rape claim by Amelle’s younger sister, Samiya.

Freddie, along with Samiya’s ex-boyfriend and two other men, were arrested in February after Samiya claimed to have been drugged and assaulted. The four men were later bailed and a spokesperson for Surrey police confirmed that the enquiry is still ongoing.

However Freddie’s uncle Matthew Bath has told the Sun that Amelle has decided to give her boyfriend of three years a second chance: “Amelle and Freddie started up again last week after chatting for ages over the past couple of weeks.”

“He begged her to believe that he had nothing to do with the attack and after Amelle spoke to some other friends, she agreed to see Freddie again. She’s been round to see him quite a few times since and they are working things out.”

“Amelle is stuck in the middle and she doesn’t know what to do. She knows Freddie’s innocent but she wants to look after her little sister too. But Freddie has told Amelle he will take a lie-detector test with the police to prove his innocence.”

A source close to Amelle added: “Amelle has put herself in a really difficult situation. Her heart says Freddie’s innocent, but her head often says something else.”

“There’s no doubt it must be causing friction within her family and with Samiya herself.”
