  • Jamelia gave a shout out to Britney Spears at her G-A-Y gig in London at the weekend. She wore a bright tshirt with “Tears for Spears” written on it for a number of tracks at Saturday’s performance and later said: “As a mum I know all about the pressures of juggling a music career with raising your kids. Britney’s obviously having a tough time and I hope she pulls it all together. I’m sure she can come back stronger than ever.”
  • And furthering the idea that those celebrities are a supportive bunch, Fergie has said she bumped into Robbie Williams while the two were both out partying last week and he’s doing well since leaving rehab. She told the Sun: “We’ll all got to face our demons at some point but Robbie is doing great. He’ll come back stronger from all of this. That boy knows how to pack out arenas.”
  • Former Spice Girl Emma Bunton has decided to abandon her solo career in favour of motherhood. A source has revealed the decision was made jointly with her record label Universal after poor sales of her last album and single. The source added Emma is “looking on the bright side and happy to concentrate on motherhood”.
