Charlotte Church is adamant that neither she or boyfriend Gavin Henson will know the sex of their baby before the child arrives in the autumn.

Charlotte’s mum Maria has revealed that Charlotte had her 12 week scan recently and they were given the option to find out whether she’s expecting a boy or a girl.

Maria told the Mirror recently: “Gavin is keen to know the sex of the baby, but Charlotte won’t let him find out.”

“She sees it as one of the last few surprises.”

Maria added that Charlotte has given up alcohol and cigarettes since she found out she was expecting and loves being pregnant: “Charlotte is doing really well. She looks great.”

“I, on the other hand, feel way too young to be a grandmother.”

Charlotte and Gavin are rumoured to be planning to marry in April at Castell Coch near their home in Cardiff, after Charlotte returns to the UK from a “bonding break” in Thailand with Gavin’s sister, Sarah.
