Ryan Phillippe and Ashlee Simpson spend night together?

Ryan Phillippe reportedly spent the night at Ashlee Simpson’s house over the weekend after the two met during a night out.

According to NW magazine, the two bumped into each other at Les Deux nightclub in Los Angeles and were spotted flirting across a table for a couple of hours. They then disappeared to the private upstairs part of the club.

A source, claiming to be a friend of Ashlee’s, told the magazine: “They were up there for over an hour and came back looking dishevelled. We knew something went on.”

The friend added that the two then left the club: “They took separate cars and met at her place. He spent the night!”

“Ashlee is keeping quiet and just said how hot he was. They really hit it off. I think they will hook up again.”

However, Ryan’s publicist has denied the rumours, saying: “Ryan does not know Ashlee aside from a brief introduction. He went out with his friends and left with his friends.”

Ryan is currently in the process of divorcing wife of seven years Reese Witherspoon while Ashlee has been most recently linked to Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz.
