• Jessica Alba has revealed she took a six week acting course run by Desperate Housewives Felicity Huffman and her husband William H Macy at the Atlantic Theatre Company in New York - and Felicity was an uncompromising teacher. Jessica said recently: “Felicity was very hard on me. She’s a tough cookie, that one. I just remember her making me cry because I didn’t prepare a scene right or I didn’t talk loud enough.”
  • Former Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm has revealed that she had an eating disorder when she was with the band. Melanie, aka Sporty Spice, said recently: “When I was in the Spice Girls I wasn’t eating, I was exercising way too much, my periods had stopped and my bone density was dangerously low. And the worst thing about it is that I was a role model to millions of young girls.”
  • Janet Jackson and long-term boyfriend Jermaine Dupri are reportedly looking to marry and start a family in the immediate future. A source at a New York party earlier this month told Life & Style that they heard Jermaine talking about his relationship with Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama, saying he “definitely” will marry Janet and “can’t wait to make a baby with her”: “Barack told him he’s a lucky man, and Jermaine replied, ‘You have no idea! She takes good care of me… She writes me poems.’”
