Heather Mills: Paul McCartney’s legal team are delaying the divorce
Heather Mills has claimed that estranged husband Paul McCartney’s legal team are dragging out the couple’s divorce proceedings in order to make more money.
Speaking to Larry King last night, Heather revealed that Paul sent her a bouquet of flowers to mark her debut appearance of Dancing with the Stars earlier this week.
She said: “It was nice. There was a card that read, ‘Dear Mummy, love Daddy and Beatrice.’”
“We still have a friendship, it’s just the lawyers who are nasty. Not on my side, but on his side.”
“There’s one woman. The lawyer, Fiona Shackleton, wants to drag it out to fill her pockets. She has said some mean things. She wants to make it as difficult as possible.”
She added that she still has feelings for Paul but doesn’t regret the decision for them to separate: “I still love [Paul]. He’s the father of my child. But you can love someone and not be right for each other and have to move on.”
“It’s like a death. You marry someone because you are madly in love. We had a beautiful child after I’d had ectopic pregnancies and a miscarriage.”
“We were together for seven years. We tried and tried and tried. But sometimes you have to say, ‘It’s not working.’”

True to form, Paul has done the right thing by sending the flowers. He’s a class act. True to form Heather “I’m not an attention seeker” Mills felt it necessary to tell us. I’m glad she thinks the decision to separate was a good one, wonder why she didn’t think of it, Paul walked out on her and he’s a man who believes in family. Why does mills have to summarize her entire life in every sentance. Why must we know she had miscarriages and etopic pregnancies in every interview.

Jane: You are right on. And why did she feel the need to go on Larry King if she doesn’t want any attention or money?

The legal system clearly encourages such dishonesty in divorce cases. Just look at the national average that out of each 100 divorces, 97 women will accuse their mate of such liable and slanderous behaviour that the laws should change to punish the dishonesty that is going on. Once again, I only mean the dishonesty. In a small majority of the time the male mate is just as Heather Mill’s describes. But in truth only a small number. It is a severe double standard that is going on that will burst sooner or later.
