• Dr Joshua Perper, the medical examiner who carried out the autopsy on Anna Nicole Smith, has announced he’ll finally reveal her cause of death at a press conference on Monday morning. A spokesperson for the Seminole Police Department has added that it is “going to be a significant announcement” and the findings “are going to provide some resolution” for the case. The National Enquirer and Star magazines in the US have both already reporting that Anna Nicole took a strong sleep-inducer, chloral hydrate, and never woke up, but add that she was also suffering from blood poisoning at the time of death.
  • Jamelia has revealed her acting plans are coming along. She told the Mirror recently: “I would love to be the next Bond girl. I’ve looked at three scripts and I really liked one. I’m going to Hollywood in May.” She added that she’s postponing her wedding to Millwall player Darren Byfield in order to concentrate on her career but said it will happen at some time: “When we do marry we’ll probably get it all sorted quickly.”
  • Flight attendants on a recent New York to Los Angeles flight made a quick film substitution after the film’s star’s ex-husband was onboard. According to National Enquirer, Jessica Simpson’s Employee of the Month was due to be shown but first class passengers Nick Lachey and girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo, were “visibly freaked out and started whispering furiously to each other” about the showing. The flight attendants reportedly had an emergency meeting in the galley and swapped it for Badidas with Penelope Cruz and Salma Hayek instead.
