Nadine CoyleNadine Coyle is reportedly in despair over news that her boyfriend Jesse Metcalfe has checked himself into rehab after a four-day long drinking session.

Jesse checked himself into an undisclosed rehab clinic on Monday after a drunken long weekend in Los Angeles last week.

A source close to Nadine told the Mirror that the Girls Aloud star is frustrated that she’s currently working in London so can’t be there to support him: “Nadine is completely shocked [about his decision to go into rehab]. She wants to be there for him, but is really worried he might decide he can’t cope with a relationship right now.”

“If that happened she would be crushed. She’s totally in love with him.”

“No one had any idea there was a drink problem. He’s so healthy and always going to the gym.”

The source added that Nadine is not the only one to be shocked by Jesse’s decision: “[His] parents are devastated. They were aware his partying was getting out of hand, but it’s still a lot for them to take in.”

The couple were recently interviewed together by OK magazine and hinted that they were planning to marry.
