• Scarlett Johansson and Woody Allen have had a mutual praise-a-thon in a recent interview with Vogue magazine. Woody, who directed Scarlett in Match Point described Scarlett as “criminally sexy”, adding: “While she is a much stronger actress in every way, there is a tiny bit of Marilyn Monroe in her zaftig humidity.” Scarlett on the other hand said of Woody, she’d do whatever he asked: “I’d sew the hems of his pants if he asked me to.”
  • Lady Sovereign was surprised by the fuss made of her recent comments suggesting Lily Allen used her dad’s fame as a shortcut to stardom. Lady Sov said recently: “I said a couple of things, so what!? It’s not like I’ve run up to her with a wet fish and slapped her now, is it? Anyways, what I’m saying is… I met Lily and her bro a few years ago… Nice peoples.”
  • Hilary Duff has suggested she thinks Lindsay Lohan has chosen to put her party girl antics ahead of pursuing her career. She told AXM magazine she believes “there were ways that Lindsay could grow up without embarrassing herself” but didn’t elaborate on what those ways may be.
