Melanie ChisholmMelanie Chisholm has revealed that she’s love to settle down and start a family with her boyfriend, Tom Starr.

The former Spice Girl met Tom, a quantity surveyor, in Barbados five years ago and she told the Sun recently that “he’s my one forever” and she’d love to join her former bandmates in motherhood: “I’d really love to be a mum one day.”

“Everyone is doing so well - [Geri Halliwell] and [Emma Bunton] seem to be thriving on motherhood and pregnancy. Geri has chilled out and Emma is going to be a great mother.”

But she realises that being a mum won’t be all fun and games: “When you find yourself in that position your freedom goes. So I’m weighing it all up. My mum looks forward to having grandchildren.”

She added that despite recording the theme for new Carmen Electra movie I Love Candy, she has no plans to follow Melanie Brown or Victoria Beckham to life in Los Angeles: “I couldn’t live there, or stand being followed as much as Victoria. I’m happy in England with my little trips to our place in Wales.”
