Avril Lavigne’s bodyguard forced the Canadian singer to cut short a meal with friends in London on Wednesday after a fan approached her for a picture.

An onlooker at the Hard Rock Cafe reports: “Avril was just having a quiet dinner with friends when a man came over to ask for a picture. She seemed very happy and duly obliged.”

“Seconds later her bodyguard came storming over and said he had to ask his permission. Avril looked very embarrassed and said everything was fine but the bouncer wasn’t having any of it. He grabbed her by the arm and dragged her out of the restaurant.”

“I felt very sorry for Avril.”

Avril is currently in the UK promoting her new album ‘The Best Damn Thing’.
