  • Britney Spears was admitted to Century City Hospital on Sunday evening but despite early rumours that she’s suicidal, her manager Larry Rudolph has confirmed she just needed emergency dental care. A source at the hospital told Us Weekly that she was experiencing severe pain in one of her molars but because of her recent stint in rehab, she didn’t just want to down pills: “She was smiling for the cameras, but the moment she got into the elevators she was complaining to her bodyguards that it was unfair her tooth was broken, but she couldn’t take painkillers.”
  • Britney’s estranged husband Kevin Federline spent his birthday weekend in Las Vegas - but took his family - including sons Sean and Jayden - along for the ride. Kevin checked into Caesar’s Palace with the boys on Friday afternoon and after an afternoon spent around the private VIP pool, he went for a meal with family and friends before heading over to Pure nightclub, where he met up with his ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson. A source told People magazine that Kevin’s parents spent most of the evening “taking photos and catching up” with Shar - the mother of Kevin’s older children.
  • Julia Roberts has revealed she’s thinking leaving behind on-camera acting in favour of less time consuming pursuits now she’s pregnant with her third child. Julia took a year off following the birth of her twins, Hazel and Phinn, and is thinking of doing the same when number three is born later this year: “Ideally I like voice-over roles - as it’s sans hair and make-up… I really enjoy [acting] but in the future I can see myself really getting behind the camera and directing. It’s much less stress and I think there is room for more women in this field.”
