- Harry Potter’s Emma Watson has ended speculation about whether or not she’ll appear in the last two films in the series. A Warner Bros executive Jeff Robinov has confirmed that Emma and Rupert Grint will both be joining Daniel Radcliffe for the final installments. Emma has been quoted as saying: “I could never let Hermione go. I love her too much and love what playing her has meant to me. I’m excited and honoured to be finishing what I started and playing her in all seven of the films.” She is thought to have agreed a £2million-a-picture deal to return to the role.
- Charlotte Church has said this year’s UK Eurovision entry by camp pop band Scooch “made every pore in my body itch with embarrassment”. The band were voted to represent the country on the BBC’s Making Your Mind Up show earlier this month but Charlotte has dismissed the programme was being “a load of absolute s***”, adding that another contestant Cyndi should represent the country instead.
- Wayne Rooney has reportedly booked out an entire hair salon in Liverpool so he and his friends can get pampered ahead of fiancee Coleen McLoughlin’s 21st birthday party next weekend. A source close to Wayne revealed that he’s invited 30 friends to enjoy the services of the Hooka salon, saying that he’s been spurred on by the recent photo deal for the party and the wedding: “Wayne will want to look good for the photos.”
