• The inquest into the death of Daniel Smith is set to start today in the Bahamas, with the selection of the jury. Daniel died due to a lethal drug combination just days after his mum, Anna Nicole Smith, gave birth to much-fought-over daughter Dannielynn in September. The inquest is expected to last three to four weeks with Howard K Stern, who was in the room when Daniel died, expected to be the key witness after Anna Nicole herself died last month.
  • Music producer Mark Ronson has no doubt that Britney Spears will make a successful comeback after her nearly three year break. Mark, who remixed Britney’s hit ‘Toxic’ for his latest album, said recently he thinks her recent antics will work for her in the end: “She can definitely come back. She’s shown she’s a bit loopy and as messed up as the rest of us.”
  • Former Charmed star Rose McGowan has revealed she was grossed out while filming pole-dancing scenes for new Quentin Tarantino film Grindhouse. Rose plays a stripper in the forthcoming film but she wasn’t comfortable sharing the pole with other dances during the shoot: “I made [the crew] Windex the pole. That’s a lot of bacteria adding up over the course of an evening.”
