• Howard K Stern believes Anna Nicole Smith would still be alive today if she hadn’t refused medical help before her death. After Anna Nicole’s cause of death was confirmed on Monday, Howard issued a statement revealing that he and their aides urged Anna Nicole to go to hospital after her fever spiked due to an infection but she refused because “she did not want the media frenzy that follows her.” He added that both he and Anna Nicole’s physician begged for her to go to hospital but “Anna called the shots in Anna’s life and everyone close to her knows that.”
  • Lost star Matthew Fox has vowed to give up smoking before the end of the year because he’s embarrassed about having to hide it from his children, Kyle and Byron. Matthew, who started smoking after chewing tobacco at university in the 1980s, said recently: “I make the same one every year and I never keep it, but I’ve vowed that this will be the year when I quit smoking. I go through periods when I smoke a lot depending on how stressed I am. I feel terrible about it because I have kids and I try to hide it from them - but this is the year it’s going to stop.”
  • She might have looked like she’d had a few drinks too many but Victoria Beckham reportedly didn’t have a hard night out with husband David Beckham and P Diddy in on Sunday - she just had a headache. The trio were spotted at Automat in London, with Diddy laying on the champagne but according to a source: “Victoria had a blinding headache, but they hadn’t seen Diddy for ages so she went along. He kept offering to buy the most expensive champagne, but she stuck to water all night.”
