James Blunt and Petra Nemcova has reportedly split up because they’re too busy to maintain their relationship.

The couple began dating early last year and were rumoured to have split - as a result of James’ infidelity - last November but now friends have claimed the couple have split for good.

A friend told the Sun: “James and Petra aren’t going out anymore. He told her it wasn’t working out and that it was best to make a clean break.”

“He and Petra didn’t get to spend enough time together because their careers have kept them on different sides of the globe for much of the time.”

“They are still on close terms as friends and they speak all the time.”

The pair are said to have gone their separate ways at the end of February and James was linked to Lindsay Lohan last week after they were spotted clubbing together then heading back to Lindsay’s home.

Clubgoers described Lindsay and James as “flirty” but the Sun’s source downplayed the meeting: “James was one of a group of about 30 people who went back to Lindsay’s house for a party. There’s nothing going on between them.”
