Lindsay LohanLindsay Lohan has reportedly spoken to her estranged father Michael Lohan for the first time since he left prison earlier this month - but only to warn him off approaching her mother, Dina Lohan.

Michael spent nearly two years in jail after a drink-driving related car crash and while in jail, reportedly turned his back on his previous life of drink and drug abuse in favour of religion. He wrote Lindsay a number of open letters from jail asking her to do the same but Lindsay doesn’t trust his transformation is legitimate.

A source told the New York Post that Lindsay phoned him over the weekend to say: “You still haven’t changed. Don’t go near my mother ever again.”

“It wasn’t the phone call Michael wanted.”

Lindsay is also worried that Michael will try to force himself back into the family and after the call with Michael, “Lindsay called her mother and told her to be careful and to take care of her brother and sister.”

Michael though believes Lindsay still might renew their relationship once her uncle, Paul Sullivan - who Michael blames many of his problems - is sentenced for mail fraud next month. According to the newspaper, he told a friend: “When one door closes, another door opens. This is divine retribution. [Sullivan] is the guy behind the whole thing.”

“He set me up, spread lies and rumors about me, and convinced Lindsay to ‘distance’ herself from me. Paul even pressed false charges against me to have me arrested. He called me a con man, but he’s a con man.”
