• Nadine Coyle is reportedly planning to fly to Los Angeles next week to be with boyfriend Jesse Metcalfe after he is released from rehab. Nadine is currently based in London while working on the new Girls Aloud album but a source told the People newspaper: “Nadine has got time off to see him. She wants to be there for him and make sure he finishes the course.”
  • Celebrity Big Brother contestant Jack Tweed has been banned from driving for a year after driving a BMW whilst over the legal alcohol limit, having no insurance and only a provisional licence. Jack claimed he drove the car for just 30 seconds to help out girlfriend Jade Goody who was upset because she was locked out of her home but police were called to a disturbance at the property and breathalised both Jade and Jack. Jack was fined £1,100 in addition to the ban.
  • ‘Grace Kelly’ singer Mika has revealed that he was knocked back by Simon Cowell - but he didn’t much want to work with the Idol judge either. Mika told Attitude magazine recently: “I had a meeting with Simon a few years back. He said my songs weren’t very good and I wasn’t a songwriter. Then I spotted a gold disc for the Teletubbies single to the left of him and thought, ‘This is possibly not the man for me’.”
