  • Prepare for one upset mum: Usher’s spokesperson has confirmed the R&B star’s engagement to girlfriend Tameka Foster. No date has been set for the wedding but in recent interviews, Usher has hinted that he hopes to be married before the end of the year.
  • Girls Aloud have signed a seven-figure deal to promote Sunsilk shampoo. The girls will earn over £250,000 each from the deal and the haircare company will also sponsor the girls next tour. A Sunsilk spokesperson confirmed the deal and said recently: “This is the first time we’ve done anything on this scale. We’re very pleased to be working with Girls Aloud.”
  • Take That’s Gary Barlow has a more cynical view of Robbie Williams going into rehab than the rest of his bandmates. Robbie checked into rehabw in February, the day before the Brit Awards - where Take That were predicted (and did) win the Best British Single award. Gary said recently: “If I was doing rehab, you’d never know. I’d be embarrassed. But a press release giving all the reasons why [the day before the Brits]… What a coincidence!”
