Avril Lavigne: Britney Spears shouldn’t blame media for problems
Avril Lavigne has suggested that Britney Spears shouldn’t blame the paparazzi for her recent problems because the media is such a core part of being famous - the problems really lie closer to home.
Avril said recently: “What’s happened to Britney is all down to who she is as a person. If you want a piece of this business you have to be able to deal with it.”
“You can’t complain about the pressures, the paparazzi, the madness because that’s the job.”
She added that Britney must have chosen to party in the public eye because she likes to go out drinking too but “no one really gets to know”.

Avril Lavigne has no idea what the pressure of the paparazzi is like….she’s famous yeah, but no where near the level of Britney Spears. Of course Avril enjoys and appreciates the paparazzi taking pics of her….it rarely happens in comparison to Britney. She should really keep her mouth shut.

I agree… I loved Avril to death, but after her recent interview and comments, I think she’s just a r****d.
No, she isn’t anywhere near as famous, criticized or as followed as Britney Spears. Avril’s most controversial thing was her style - whoop-de-doo.
Wait until her own mothering skills are challenged by millions of people and she’ll be telling a different story. When she got married, everyone supported it, but when Brit got married, all hell broke loose… You can’t compare the two. Avril’s a god damn moron for even trying to understand what Britney’s going through.
Sorry, but unless you’re a mom, you can’t freaking understand the pressure of that… I can’t imagine the pressure on top of being famous and followed.

Wtf Valerie? Soon enough Avril will be on the level of Britney, I think she does know a thing or two about what she’s talkin about. Relating to the paparazzi, Brit should have just done what Avril does, flick them off and spit on them. Beat thier a*s’s, take the offensive. Avril f****n rocks!

no avril is more famous than britney. I think Avril is right i mean the only reason why avril dont have paperazzi on her butt is because she doesnt go out and drink in public to were they would have story on her. So avril is just to good for Paperazzi and they would not want to try to get anything on her because they wont find anything really.
