Britney Spears still dating rehab boyfriend, Howie Day?
Britney Spears‘ mystery rehab boyfriend has been IDd as singer/songwriter Howie Day - and a source close to Britney has claimed the star is smitten with him.
The pair met during Britney’s stay at Promises Treatment Center in Malibu last month and were photographed playing tennis together - and then were rumoured to indulged in some post-tennis action in the bushes.
A source told Life & Style: “They formed a special bond. They were in group therapy together and Brit found his experiences fascinating.
“They would talk in their free time and tried to have lunch together twice a week.”
Britney left the facility on 20 March but hasn’t forgotten Howie, who is still in the treatment programme - the source added that the couple text message each other constantly and she is thinking of taking him as her guest to her cousin Erin’s wedding over the summer.
The source said: “Britney just lights up when she talks to Howie or tells people about him. She thinks he’s very talented and says he’s the best kisser.”

Britney needs an extensive therapy because she definitely doesn’t love herself and has no self esteem. She is regressing and craving for love and attention. If the Howie story is true, I feel sorry for her this time. If things go wrong again, there is no one to blame but herself. She chooses her own crazy destiny. Her pride is her demon.

As the father of Howie’s last girl friend, I would urge both Britney and Howie to go slowly.
During my short, but very emotionally intense experience with Howie, I found myself very drawn by his charming, youthful innocence. I realize that in reality he is not a boy but a young man. Further, due to his career lifestyle, and the money it has afforded him, he has indeed experienced more than the average twenty-something. Yet, as intelligent, creative, and talented, as Howie appears, there is a little boy in him that has not yet quite found himself. The alcohol, drugs, destructive behavior and so forth are only outward symptoms of very serious personal inner needs.
The very intense experiences I went through with Howie and my daughter during their visit in Germany, which would have made for some very nasty press, convinced me that Howie needed serious professional therapy and I advised him as such. I was,in fact, quite relieved to find out that Howie was headed to to a treatment center in Tucson upon his departure from Frankfurt. However, as anyone who has had personal experience with this kind of thing knows, the person must truly believe they need help, and be willing to whole heartedly accept it. It’s a VERY painful process, worse in many ways than a purely physical healing. Bottomline is that I will always have an emotional warm spot for Howie and I do so hope he comes out of treatment in shape to finish his upcoming CD. It is going to be a big seller, I’ve heard all but the final two cuts he was still working on. It’s better than his first CD and will end any argument as to just how talented Howie is as both a song writer and performer. I wish you the very best Howie and REALLY hope to spend time with you again.
PS. Britney—goodluck to you also.
Randy
