Hayden PanettiereHeroes star Hayden Panettiere has revealed she’s glad she’s graduating from high school in a couple of months because it’s difficult juggling her schooling and her acting career.

The 17 year old actress told People magazine recently: “Thank God [I’m graduating]! School is difficult: when you come and go, you miss out on a lot. Cliques are formed and you’re just lingering.”

With more time on her hands once she finishes her education, she is going to expand her career beyond her cheerleader role in the TV show: she’s acting opposite Julia Roberts in Fireflies in the Garden and is recording her debut pop album for release in the autumn.

She added that she enjoys making music because “with singing I get to be myself” but thinks she’s too boring to follow in the paparazzi-shadowed footsteps of fellow singing actresses such as Lindsay Lohan and Hilary Duff: “I had paparazzi on my street for a while. I think I bored them to tears. I’m no fun to watch.”
