A source close to Howard K Stern is claiming Howard will not challenge Larry Birkhead for custody of Anna Nicole Smith’s daughter Dannielynn if the DNA tests prove that Larry is the baby’s father.

The source told TMZ that no matter what the results uncover, Howard’s “love for [Dannielynn] will not change” and “he wants to be involved in her life, regardless of paternity”.

The source added that Howard “will do whatever is necessary to assist Larry Birkhead to defeat any effort by Virgie Arthur to obtain custody of Dannielynn. .. Howard is dedicated to Virgie Arthur not having custody of Dannielynn. He is well aware of how Anna Nicole felt about ‘Mommy Dearest’ and Anna’s feelings were clear regarding Virgie Arthur being anywhere near Dannielynn.”

The DNA results will be announced at a hearing in the Bahamas on Tuesday.
